Untold Stories of Immigrants in the Valley-The Salvadoran Civil War

In this video, Maria (who now lives in  Northampton, MA) narrates how difficult life was during the Salvadoran civil war. According to the Center for Justice and Accountability, over 75,000 people died during this violent, outrageous war that lasted over 12 years. During these twelve years Maria struggled with fear, familial separations, poverty, and the death of her husband.

Maria's story is just one out of the millions stories of people who were affected by this horrific war.
